Who is an Ideal Candidate for Bellafill?
This injectable product may be suitable for healthy adults over the age of 21. It is made to treat moderate to severe volume loss, reduce the appearance of nasolabial folds, and correct atrophic acne scars. Bellafill contains purified bovine collagen alongside polymethyl methacrylate microspheres. It also contains lidocaine. Therefore, to be a good candidate, you mustn't be allergic to bovine collagen or lidocaine. To ensure that Bellafill can be safely used for your concerns, we'll perform an allergy test. This simple test involves placing a minute amount of the product beneath the skin on your arm. If, after four weeks, no signs of allergies occur, we can then schedule your full injectable treatment.
It is important to understand that Bellafill is designed as a long-term filler. Unlike other fillers that are made using hyaluronic acid, Bellafill cannot be dissolved once it has been injected. How Does Bellafill Work?

These microspheres remain in the target area and act as a form of biostimulation for new collagen production. Because of the way that Bellafill works, the results of treatment improve over time.
